You’re here—maybe because we crossed paths.

Maybe I took your photo on a sidewalk, at a market, or in a quiet moment that caught my eye.

Maybe you saw me photographing something seemingly random and wondered what I was chasing.

The answer, always: light—and the stories it reveals.

Why I do this:

I’m Chris Adams, a photographer and writer guided by human connection, wonder, and the quiet invitation of the world around me.

Sometimes I take portraits.
Sometimes I write poems or stories sparked by encounters with people, places, or small moments that shimmer.
Sometimes I photograph strangers because something in them shines, even if they don’t see it yet.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s about chasing the light within, and honoring the ways it flickers through all of us.

If I took your photo:

I’ll be reaching out soon with your image.

If we didn’t exchange info, but you’re here now, you can reach me through the Contact Page.

Just share where we met and what you remember—I’d love to send you your photo if I still have it.

Thanks for being part of the light.
